August 21, 2003: I'm a horrible person. >_>; I have completely neglected this site. -_-;; But I swear that once I get stuff moved and things settle down, I will update with the last, what, three layouts? Promise.

February 06, 2003: [M] goes live.

[M] is the layout archive for erratic evolution, my blog. Layouts 1-6 are part of the entry archives, and layout 7 is currently down. Layouts 8 to the present can be found here at [M].

My layouts has come a long way since the beginning, and I'm still actively doing my best to improve. I'm not where I'd like to be in terms of skill, but that gives me all the more incentive to get better.

[M]'s current layout pictures Reika, best known for his work as Madeth gray'll's drummer. After Madeth gray'll disbanded, Reika went on to form a new band, doremidan. Where as Madeth gray'll was known for their hard dark sound, I would describe doremidan's style as a jazzy rock. Their lighter sound is refreshingly fun and great to bounce along. Their music certainly gives Reika the chance to show off his skill with his chosen instrument.

The title '[M]teki higyaku shoukougun' comes from track seven from Madeth gray'll's album Lucifer. It's not at all one of the better songs from the release, but it's part of the inspiration for the archive's name, [M].
