Listening to: Guniw Tools "Either Wise or Fool"

Bwhahaha. I'm writing now.

I've so far become either very much the typical student, or very domestic, one of the two.
Worrying about tests, exams, money, laundry, (though not laundering money =D haha), but then I still have my friends to worry about.

I'm starting to wonder if this will be what the rest of my life will be like. Probably.

There was a metal car overhang that collapsed the other day because of the snow and ice. I found out the statistics that it had somewhere in the mid 20's pound of ice and snow per inch.

The side walks have finally be decently cleared. Some of the side walks around my apartment never got properly shoveled or salted and then got too cold to do so and from so many walking on them and turned into a solid walkway of ice. Lots of fun shuffling to the bus stop.

My old campus keeps recommending me for minors....History, English, Biology. I'm not sure what to think. Are they honestly interested in me? Are they just trying to recruit? This is probably mean to think, but do they have low standards?

I'm going to be heading over to Eat N Park today to hopefully get a job. I need to go to the bank and get some checks and make a money order out for my rent. Blah blah blah. I also need to head over to the pet store and get some litter for the ratty-kins.

Speaking of my sweet ratties, Liz has practically adopted Yuki. I think Yuki really likes her too. He's been teaching her all these "I need to pee you can put me down now" sort of signals. Shu hasn't done that for me. He just pees. Shu-shu's still a big sweetheart though. Wish I had a camera to capture all the sweetness. Definitely death by cute. He loves when I wear hoodies cause then he can hide in them.

I got a B+ on the Egyptian Exam I was all worried about...My Astro exam was also pretty good. 80 out of 100 when the highest was 96 and the class average was 67.something (He curves). Math wasn't the best (B-) But I'll do better next time.

I've started to watch a little TV while I eat, and the more I see the more I don't like. Sometimes I wonder if the people watching feed the stereotypes, or the people making TV create the stereotypes. Either way...I don't like it. I hope most people don't believe what's on TV.

Everything in up here is much more expensive. I think it's sort of interesting considering it's a college city so wouldn't they consider that students need a break here and then? Either way I have to worry about budgeting more. I definitely need a job because what I have isn't going to last the whole year. Well that's what the Eat N Park visit is for today. Hopefully it goes well.

If you haven't noticed I joined a series of fanlistings *points to under the counter*. Most of them are because I though the buttons were cute *laughs*. But who knew there was one for "Wind". If there are fanlistings for individual songs then there should be a "Sink" "For You" and "Girls Be Ambitious" one too *picky*

As for the others, I think CCS is endless squishiness. Especially where Touya and Yukito are involved. Though Li and Sakura are endless cuteness too. And then Tomoyo's just creepy. But yeah. Also Mirror is really sweet too. Everything is just too sweet! It's ahh!!! *dies of cuteness*

The others are bands. The Pura one was down...or weird...or something. There was no Hisoka FL either. There was a Tea one though. I was tempted to join a Pie FL too...very tempted. They didn't have a button of my favorite pie though *sadness*. They were only Pecan and one Apple. The Apple did look good though~

Nigaki says I should blog more. I agree with her. I just don't know what to write....

In other news. I have plans for a new Valentine's Day layout. And my mom sent me sugar. And sugar is good.

Ah well. I'll probably write soon.

Listening to: Poe "Walk the Walk"

"The history of our nation has demonstrated that separate is seldom, if ever, equal. For no rational reason the marriage laws of the Commonwealth discriminate against a defined class; no amount of tinkering with language will eradicate that stain" -Massachusetts Judges

Thank you. There are sane people in the world afterall. I can still have faith in humanity to do something good. It's nice to hear some good news.

Sometimes it makes me sick to my stomach...hearing sweet people with kind hearts saying such hatefully discrimatory and ignorant things. *sighs* Then again...I supposed I should just get used to it.

In other news. I hate the taste of my PMS tea...but it works wonders. Tea is such a wonderful wonderful thing.

I'm going to go take a nap before my math exam. oyasumi.

Listening to: Aimee Man's cover of "One"

yesterday I had a snow day. Which was fun. Liz was jumping around the apartment that morning going "YES!! YES! YESSSS!!!!!" and I figured that's a good sign to turn off my alarm clock ^_^

Had an Astro exam today...supposedly it was supposed to be hard....not really. I have a math exam tomorrow....I'm also pretty sure it won't be all that hard but I might get a little studying done tomorrow.

I made a new friend on campus who's also into Plastic Tree. Which makes me happy. It's always nice talking to a fellow Pura fan.

And mah gahd! CCS is far too cute for it's own good. There is so much squishiness I can't even imagine. Sometimes I think paradise is something akin to the world of CCS. There just isn't a bad soul in there....outside of some of Ruby Moon's antics. Very very selfish. But for the most part nearly every single other person is kind, considerate, and rather has a good deal of wisdom. Yeah, I mean it's a kid's show so of course it's going to be flowers and happiness....but it's different. There's just something about it. It's more genuine.

I have stuff to talk about...but I don't really want to talk. I'm still not in a very talky mood. Or at least not like this. It'll pass though.

I've been thinking I should do something nice for Nigaki for lending me webspace. Friends don't count favors...but at the same time it'd be nice to do something anyways. I'd say I'd pay for another lunch....but New York is far away....Maybe I could make something.

I'm worried about my grandmother. But I trust in her strength.

Good night all.

Listening to: Garbage "Androgeny"

I saw Butterfly Effect yesterday (and want to see it again...Dan!). I'll try and make this a spoiler free rant as possible. Or at least as much spoilers one would get from the trailers.

Who knew? Whoooo knew? He can friggin act! Amazing! Ashton Kucher can do a really good job. Who knew?

It's sort of funny since I started playing this card game on Open Game night on campus called Crononauts. Basically you can go back in time and do things like Kill Hitler or Save John Lennon. And then it has these ripples on time past those points and you have to start patching the paradoxes. Nice to say that Butterfly Effect didn't have any paradoxes (thooooough for one I'm not sure they might have had it but just not mentioned it...or it was just a plot hole) but plenty of rippling.

Soooo *grin* if anyone wants to see Butterfly Effect with me I'm perfectly willing to see it again.

Who knew? *laughs* Who friggin knew?

Oh, and here's some fun =D

1. EXOTIC FOREIGNER ALIAS = Favorite Spice + Last Foreign Vacation Spot:
- Lemon Pepper Canada

2. "FLY GIRL" ALIAS (a la J. Lo) = First Initial + First Two or Three Letters of Your Last Name:
- E. Ha

3. ROCK STAR ALIAS = Any Liquid on the Bar + Last Name of Bad-Ass Celeb:
- Scotch...uh...does Miyavi have a last name? =D

4. DIVA ALIAS = Something Sweet Within Sight + Any Liquid in Kitchen:
- Cookie Palmolive

5. GIRL DETECTIVE ALIAS = Favorite Baby Animal + Where You First Went To School:
- Raptor Eisenhower

6. BARFLY ALIAS = Last Snack Food You Ate + Your Favorite Drink:
- PBJ Tea

7. SOAP OPERA ALIAS = Middle Name + Street Where You First Lived:
- Leigh Ruthfred

*laughs* those all sound stupid....cept perhaps the Soap Opera one. Though PBJ Tea sounds catchy. Like PeBee Jay T! yo yo. *so white*

09:02 PM
Listening to: Kozi "Honey Vanity" (I really like it! It's cute. I want to find the lyrics for it)

It friggin snowed. And we only got a stingy 2 hour delay *pouts*

Liz introduced me to Uuchu no Stelliva. Definitely cute. Supposedly the math involved in it is correct though it has one mistake in the calculations. But it's through an arguably correct variable so it's ok. *sooooo not the astro major so I didn't do the calculations myself....maybe if I had gotten into physics more*

It's sci-fi and mechy and stuff (and not G-wing) and I still like it. That's reeeeaally different for me. Anyways. I like it. Though one girl has a hair style that I swear took 5 hours to create so I call her "5 hour" girl.

I was going to go job searching today...but alot of stuff was closed and chaotic thanks to the weather. Nearly all of the shallow cuts are gone from the rattie bathing adventure on Saturday. Liz got a crock pot and I watched The Pianist for the first time.

I definitely need a job, but I want to join some clubs too. I'll work really hard this semester ^_^

I was going to update this with things I did this weekend. But I don't feel like it =D haha. Maybe later.

Check out the song in the subject line. =D Thank you Dan for having just as sick humor as I do.

Listening to: Ani Difranco "Shrug"

I got the package full of all sorts of wintery goodness. A hat, gloves, scarf, and nice winter jacket. Hopefully I'll stay nice and warm....cause it's been friggin FREEZING!

Today I think it was in the 20s....and I was talking with random-person-at-the-bus-stop (TM) and we were saying that it's WARM! WARM!

Thank Kami for Tea...that's all I have to say.

Actually I have this card that on the front says "Thank God for tea. What would the world do without tea? How did it exist? I'm glad I was not born before tea." -Sydney Smith 1771-1845
Preach on my brother.

Anyways. I dropped Japanese cause it was annoying the hell out of me, and I wasn't going to get any credit for it anyways...so I'm taking Astro instead now. Which is fun because space is fun. But I'd like to kick Bush in the mouth. But who wouldn't? I just get to practice outside of class! *holds up newly aquired X/1999 manga thanks to Nigaki selling her collection*

Oh, and this sucks. Miyavi's going to be at A-kon. Which means I'm going to feel horrible for missing him while he's in the US...but I can't go cause...well...it's in friggin Texas! *pouts* So close yet so far.
Though....if I DID manage (by some miracle) to go, I'd be the biggest fan there. ^__^ bwhaha. No competition...or at least less competiton.

hmm...what else to say...
oh yeah.

Happy New Year!

I only know one Monkey...I don't think anyone else I know is a Monkey...hmm

New layout is up! And I actually don't mind it! I had a couple of other plans for it, but in general it didn't turn out so bad. Yeah for V-brush and yeah for me getting over my nitpickiness.

Classes are fun. Campus is fun. Life is fun. I'll write more. I swear.

Hey wow. Winamp just switched to Coo-quack-whatever. *grin*
